Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) therapist trained in evidence-based treatments for OCD, Anxiety, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), Tics, and PTSD/Trauma. Her therapeutic approach includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), the Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) model, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
She completed her graduate internship under the supervision of Dr. Patrick McGrath at Alexian Brothers Hospital, one of the nation’s most respected training facilities for CBT and ERP. In addition to her extensive training in anxiety disorders and OCD, she is also trained in evidence-based therapies for trauma, including PE and CPT.
She provides compassionate, individualized care to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages and has treated hundreds of clients in a variety of settings for OCD, phobias, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, BFRBs, and tics.
With personal lived experience of OCD and anxiety, she deeply understands the distress, discomfort, and shame that can accompany various subtypes of OCD. Her combination of professional training and personal insight allows her to empathize with clients throughout their recovery journey.
She is passionate about helping individuals overcome anxiety and mental health challenges. Her integrative approach is designed to meet each client where they are, offering a supportive and personalized path to healing.
