We believe psychoeducation is essential for therapeutic progress. Our goal is to help you build a strong foundation of skills by providing thorough psychoeducation about your diagnosis. Additionally, we will spend time educating you on evidence-based treatment modalities to help you reach your therapeutic goals. During this time, we provide family sessions, guiding members on how to provide compassionate support and care to their loved ones.
Our clinician will coordinate with your individual psychiatric providers, ensuring seamless care. All coordination will take place only after we receive your full written consent.

The first few sessions will focus on assessment and developing a comprehensive understanding of your unique situation. These sessions provide a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while learning valuable coping strategies and techniques to manage OCD or anxiety symptoms.
Group Therapy Service

At OCD and Anxiety of The Woodlands, we can offer a range of group therapy options to complement individual treatment and provide additional support. Our groups are designed to meet specific needs and are run as demand requires.
